Some analysts want to avoid this stock! Not us we have to say, we are still big supporters of Kinross and intend to stay with them.
Look at the chart and we can see that they are doing very well indeed.

They don’t hedge and must be in the sights of the bigger guns as a prime takeover target. The gold explorers are not making mega gold discoveries, so if a company wants to add more gold it has to go exploring on Bay Street.
Hold and accumulate when we can, that’s us.

Agnico-Eagle Mines Limited announced today third quarter earnings of $45.2 million, or $0.38 per share.
Earnings in the first nine months of 2006 were a record of $119.5 million, or $1.05 per share. This is more than four times the $25.3 million, or $0.29 per share, recorded in the same period last year.
Don’t you just love it when they report that total cash costs at La Ronde are minus $709 per ounce for gold! Well, we do.

Gold prices keep putting in a series of small rallies only to back right off the $600 per ounce barrier.

The chart indicates that we are at a bewitching hour when the 50 DMA is about to cross the 200 DMA in a downward direction. Not a great sign from a chartist standpoint (read more…)

Gold has come out of the traps flying and just hit $600.00 per ounce. What a terrific start to the day. Silver is also rocketing up the charts, well done to both of you.
I wonder if we will see any dumping later on?

Avoid the dog box and buy your nearest and dearest a really nice piece of gold jewelry. So its not an EFT or a share certificate or a tiny fraction of a huge managed fund – so what?

Gold prices are nervously coiled ready to spark on stock exchanges throughout the world.
The physical price of gold is heading up to the 200 DMA and we believe that it will go straight through it. In turn the 200 DMA will go straight through the 50 DMA and both these averages will follow the gold price upwards (read more…)
