Silverado has just mined a 13.78 troy ounce gold nugget.

This gold nugget was found in the Mary’s East underground workings while conducting sampling and grade control work. This nugget is news worthy because it is very rare to find a nugget of such size these days.

The Nolan Heights gold mining properties have a history of producing some of the largest gold nuggets ever found in Alaska.

Its not just the size either, it’s the fact that a lot of the nuggets mined are of jewellery quality and therefore command a premium to the gold price.

We will continue to hold and where possible buy on dips, should the opportunity present itself.
