As the gold mining sector began a recovery today Silverado put in a sparkling performance and gained 17.65% on heavy volume of 5.3 million shares traded.
Other gold stocks that improved were Agnico Eagle up 4.26%, Yamana up 6.53% and Kinross up 4.27%. A terrific bounce back after the recent market sell off which hit the gold sector pretty hard. The decline of the gold price was halted as it managed to put on a few dollars and finish in New York slightly higher than yesterday.

WHY PUT 2 YEAR OLD INFO ON THIS UPTODATE WEB SITE
PLEASE EXPLAIN

Dan,
Some time ago our readers asked us to group together articles about a particular company so that they didn’t have to search the whole site to see what we had written in the past about that company.
So we came up with the idea of relating articles by the company name, which works well for Agnico as the system then groups together those articles about Agnico.
However for articles of a more general nature the system does not work so well. Hopefully we can improve on it in future.
Best wishes,
Bob
